Influence of State Banks on Economic Growth: A Cross-Country Analysis
The authors systematize the economic-mathematical models, as well as the results of empirical studies of
authoritative international analytical agencies and financial institutions, in which the influence of state capital
in the banking system on the development of national economies was formalized on different countries in
different periods. The analysis showed that such studies often give some completely opposite results. The
reason for these authors is that the sample of countries in these models is formed mainly taking into account
differences in the scale of state participation and levels of economic development of countries. This approach
is erroneous because it does not take into account the specifics of the construction of the financial sector in
these countries and the functions performed by the state banks
Influence of fluorination time on surface flashover of epoxy in insulating gas
The accumulation of charges on polymeric insulation under high voltage DC stress is a major concern in the transmission system as its formation distorts the local electric field and has an adverse impact on the electrical performance. By undergoing fluorination treatment on the insulation, improved surface properties similar to fluoropolymers can be attained without changing the bulk properties of the original material. The change in chemical components at the surface of polymeric insulation should lead to a corresponding change in electrical properties at the surface and thus can suppress charge build up. Previous research on surface flashover on fluorinated epoxy resin at atmospheric condition shows a significant improvement in flashover strength. In this paper, the authors investigated the effect of different degree of fluorination treatment on cast epoxy resin on suppressing surface charge accumulation and its contribution towards the improvement in surface breakdown strength. In comparison to previous research, it has been found that there is an optimum time duration of fluorination treatment which improves the surface breakdown strength of epoxy spacer. The mechanisms that govern the effect of fluorination treatment on surface flashover were discussed
Mechanical Properties of Friction Stir-Welded Joints of Aluminum Alloys
Mechanical properties, intergranular corrosion, and a chemical composition of the welded joint, produced with friction stir welding of a 6061T651 aluminum alloy were investigated. The results show that the welded seam is uniform, with a smooth surface. There are no deformation and defects, such as cracks or gas-filled porosity. The average tensile strength of welded joints is 73% of that of the base material, while the average yield strength and elongation are only 54% and 43% of those of the base material. After intergranular corrosion, microhardness changes evidently and corrosion resistance is lower in the root of the weld nugget zone. The change in microhardness is not pronounced in the weld nugget zone and welded surface, but the change in microhardness is well-pronounced and corrosion resistance is lower in the thermomechanically- and heat-affected zones.ΠΡΡΠ»Π΅Π΄ΠΎΠ²Π°Π½Ρ ΠΌΠ΅Ρ

Structure-properties relationships in solution-processable single-material molecular emitters for efficient green organic light-emitting diodes
The electroluminescent properties of a series of solution-processable fluorescent molecular emitters have been systematically investigated. While the introduction of the electron-deficient benzothiadiazole unit in the structure confers efficient electron-injection on the emitter materials, they exhibit different hole-transport properties. The device characteristics of the OLEDs based on these various emitters are discussed on the basis of (i) the energy levels of their HOMO and LUMO and (ii) their hole-transport properties in relation with the charge-transport and blocking properties of the electron- and hole-transport layers. First-in-class Microbial Ecosystem Therapeutic 4 (MET4) in combination with immune checkpoint inhibitors in patients with advanced solid tumors (MET4-IO trial)
Background: The intestinal microbiome has been associated with response to immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) in humans and causally implicated in ICI responsiveness in animal models. Two recent human trials demonstrated that fecal microbiota transplant (FMT) from ICI responders can rescue ICI responses in refractory melanoma, but FMT has specific limitations to scaled use.Patients and methods: We conducted an early-phase clinical trial of a cultivated, orally delivered 30-species microbial consortium (Microbial Ecosystem Therapeutic 4, MET4) designed for co-administration with ICIs as an alternative to FMT and assessed safety, tolerability and ecological responses in patients with advanced solid tumors. Results: The trial achieved its primary safety and tolerability outcomes. There were no statistically significant differences in the primary ecological outcomes; however, differences in MET4 species relative abundance were evident after randomization that varied by patient and species. Increases in the relative abundance of several MET4 taxa, including Enterococcus and Bifidobacterium, taxa previously associated with ICI responsiveness, were observed and MET4 engraftment was associated with decreases in plasma and stool primary bile acids. Conclusions: This trial is the first report of the use of a microbial consortium as an alternative to FMT in advanced cancer patients receiving ICI and the results justify the further development of microbial consortia as a therapeutic co-intervention for ICI treatment in cancer

the decay is observed for the first time.
